Way back in 1972 we imported 3 harlequins and 2 fawns from England. The harlequins, pictured left, were Aust Ch Helmlake Dazzling Igor CD, and Aust Ch Helmlake Darling Fashion CDX, both were by Ben Eleick Vom Forellenparadies, a German import in to England. |

Kempsons Venus, who broke a leg in quarantine and never saw the show ring produced some magnificent Champions. She was the daughter of Eng Ch Leesthorpill Sultan of Escheatsland, B.OB at Crufts and from one of the oldest Harlequin Kennels in England. Some of their very successful offspring included, Ch Hildydane Janushka, Ch Imperial Eick, Ch Hildydane Ivan The Great, Hildydane Razzmatazz and their Sydney Royal Ch Show Winning son Hildydane Lord Thor.

Then along came another unstoppable son of the French Import Obi De Terres de la Rairie, Ch Hildydane Titan King. After that came our American "huge boy" BMW Sydney, whose daughter Ch Charisma N.Y. was one of the top winning bitches from the tender age of three months. |
